Then, thousands of other students embraced the movement #FridaysforFuture. They stayed home on Friday to demonstrate against the effects of climate change. Climate activists all over the world took part in their efforts to organize the Global Strike for Climate. It was an enormous success. More than 1.6 million people from over 125 countries participated.
