April Lockhart

April Lockhart was born on July 4 1995 in seventh grade. She began playing the guitar as well as taking piano lessons which ignited her passion for writing songs. April's first song was Different. It was written at the age of 12. at the age of 14, April spent much time writing lyrics and perfecting her music abilities. The songwriting began with her dad at home in NY and LA soon after. The month also saw her include various other topics of concern for some of her classmates who struggle with things like peer pressure disabilities and even teenage suicide as depicted in the song Take my Hand. Lockhart collaborates with famous clean beauty brand Ilia and is a lifestyle influencer with an increasing following of her own. She has a disability that is part of her identity, but it's not the complete of the picture. Lockhart does not deny that she has a disability on her account on Instagram However, she doesn't really concentrate on it. The message? The message? We can all be multifaceted and our identities and physical selves are not all that appear. I don't want that to make me feel like I'm to be a disability influencer in the sense that I only talk about because there are so numerous other aspects of me Lockhart shares her thoughts via video from her residence in Nashville. The issue doesn't affect my everyday routine. I carry on your business in the normal way and have discovered various ways to be able to cope. Since it's a part of my identity It's an issue worth talking about. Lockhart is a great example to accept oneself in all aspects has been on a long road to reach it. But she has admitted to going through phases with her body and sometimes having a feeling of insecurity when wearing particular types of clothes that showed off the arms of her. She wears whatever she wants and is proud to post pictures of herself wearing the clothes she chooses on social media. The journey itself is the key thing I don't know until you've arrived she says of self-love. This is true for everyone regardless of state of being. Your people with that truly understand you and who can look into your heart are the ones that remind you of why it's important.
