Republicans as well as Democrats all respect his honesty. Cheney says he is an unassuming but trustworthy adviser for Bush during his presidency. Cheney expressed his excitement at accepting the Republican vice-presidential nod. He stated that the future is bright for him working with a person who is able to collaborate with those who have different political views and with the same goals. Richard Bruce Cheney is the son of Richard Herbert Cheney of the late Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. He was born on January 30, 1941, in Lincoln Nebraska. At 13 years old, he left the state of Nebraska. old, he relocated together with family members to Casper located in western region of Wyoming, where his father was the director of the local district of soil conservation to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
